EU4Dual - Dual Credential Platform

EU4Dual is a European Universities alliance project focused on advancing dual education by combining academic learning with practical industry experience. It encourages collaboration among universities and businesses across Europe, promoting mobility, innovation, and employability. The project strengthens higher education by aligning study programs with real-world skills and labour market needs.

Highlights

I was part of a small team in Work Package 8 of the EU4Dual project, where I contributed to developing the course catalog. My role focused on uploading and maintaining various credentials on the platform, ensuring alignment with the predefined schema. I also developed an ideas funnel for the consortium and represented the team in meetings both locally and abroad.

Technology

The EU4Dual platform is built on WordPress, with substantial custom code developed using WP Emerge, enabling an MVC structure for cleaner, maintainable code. Institutional data was mapped to a standardized schema and stored as MeiliSearch documents, allowing users fast, full-text search, filtering, and typo-tolerant queries for improved discoverability and usability.
